Is Undergoing Nerve Conduction Test Safe During Pregnancy?
My waif is pregnant in 8the month and she is complaining of lift back pain since 5 years there was no treatment given unlace analgesic knew physician advised to do nerve condect test my question is their any said affect in pregnant for this test

Well, she is pregnant with a heavy load that shifts her balance to a forward position. Back pain is common during pregnancy and studies are seldom performed since pregnancy alters the normal body physiology. Physical therapy is frequently indicated during pregnancy. Tests are performed if pain persist after 6-12 weeks post partum or more according to the clinical findings. I would not perform nerve conduction studies since I believe that will be a waste of time and money with no clear benefits
