Is Travelling Safe For A Child With Seizure Disorder?

my son about 2.4 years old.0n 4 th jan 2011 about 4.30 pm while sleeping first time convulsion taken placed.we rush to hospital.After 23 days EEG was made.Reported Abnormal sleep EEGsuggestive of generalized Cerebral dysrhythmia .our child specialist given VALPARINE 200 SYP.(2.5ML TDS continue ABOUT 1.5 YEARS) He also told that SGPT Estimation made after 2 weeks.In this regards i like to go for treatment in south in March.Can we travel with my child in train for 2 days?in case of emergency what we will do?

I can understand your concern. As he is under treatment, I would suggest you to continue medications as advised. You can travel, no issue. Don't leave him alone during travelling. Hopefully, there will not be any seizure as he is under treatment. If repeats, usually it goes automatically. Only prevent him from head injury and try to rush nearby hospital.
