Is Traveling Safe For Child With Clicking Heart And Blue Hands And Feet?

My grandson was born 3-11-11. At his first doctor visit at a few days of age they heard "clicking" in his heart. Now his feet and hands are turning blue. They are moving from Vermont to California on this coming Wednesday. Is it safe for the baby to be on the road right now? Is this considered normal?
