Is Travel Advisable For Women With Low Lying Placenta During Pregnancy?
Hi doctor, I am 24 weeks pregnant. The 20 week ultra sound report says that, placenta is fundobody posterior.It is low lying presently. Lower pole just covers internal os . And i need to travel either by flight or train for undergoing delivery in my native place. I would like to know whether it is safe to travel or not?

I really appreciate your concern, such position of placenta is nothing to worry because in third trimester placenta goes up and this is nothing to worry, you can travel but be careful, or if possible avoid travelling, hope this helps, and have a nice day.
