Is Travel Advisable After Angioplasty And Stent Insertion?

I had a massive heart attack on Nov. 20,2011. I had an angioplasty done and a stent put into the heart to prevent a100 percent blockage. I have been doing very well and getting stronger day by day. My husband and I have been planning a trip from Canada to Australia long before all this happened. Will I still be able to go on the trip if were to leave at the beginning of April?

Hi,as your husband had a stent placement and angioplasty done in the past will be better if he avoids lifting heavy wieghts and running during this trip,it will be wise if he doesnt do work which will make him tierd. It will be better if you take your cardiologist advise before leaving for the trip and precautionary measures to take before u leave.
