Is Tramadol Advisable When On Prednisone, Cimetidine, And Diazepam ?

i have taken prednisone 20 mg, cimetidine 400mg, and diazepam 5mg approx 4 hours ago. This was precriped to me for a severe case of poison ivy I have on my face and in my eyes. I have since then pulled a muscle in my back and am having severe pain. Is it ok to take a tramadol 50 mg that I had for pain from a previous back pain on top of these other medications?

I can understand your concern. Predenisolone is a steroid drug, Cimetidine is a antacid drug, Diazepam is a benzodiazepine drug. You are taking these drugs for poisonous ivy. Out of these drugs Diazepam is known to cause sedation and hypnosis. You have taken 5 mg doses about 4 hours ago so most likely the acute effects of the drug have passed. Tremadol is an opioid drug. The drug is also known to cause sedation apart from the control of pain. There is no risk in taking the drug for pain and it would not interact with other drugs you are taking. Take the medicines with prescription only.
