Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand you concern..

As per your complain increased blood glucose level in blood has a deleterious effect on the health of teeth and gums and it leads to infections in gums, destruction of gums and underlying bone, loosening of teeth and fall of teeth..

Although there is no side effect of extraction on the eyes of the patient and it is a total myth and a misconception.

The only problem with diabetics is that there is delayed healing of the wound if the extraction is done when the blood sugar level is high and there can be infection in extraction wound due high sugar level as bacteria feeds on sugar and flourishes..

I would suggest you that get his blood sugar level checked and if it is high then you should consult your diabetologist and get the alteration in medicines done if needed and cut down on carbohydrates and sugar intake so that the sugar level comes within normal range both fasting and post meal and once the blood glucose level is maintained extraction can be done easily by giving a three days antibiotics cover and antibiotics should be continued 5 days after the extractions too..

There will be no problem with the eyes and even the healing will be good if sugar level is maintained in normal range..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards..
