Is This Strep Throat Having Symptoms Of Burning And Flat Yellow Patches At The Back Of Throat?
I had a bad cough and lost my voice during Thanksgiving. When I finally got it back I had lots of mucus but the cough improved. Now my throat feels raw, like it's burning and I have flat white or yellow patches directly at the back of my throat and it hurts to swallow. I've had no fever and feel fine otherwise. I wonder what this could be, strep throat?
hello. i do'nt think it is a strep infection specially since you rare not having fever. kindly get yourself checked with an ENT physician. also i would recommend that you do the following tests - your sputum for culture and sensitivity , blood counts like total leucocyte count and differntial leucocyte count and a throat swab for culture. thanks.. please let me know the results also.
