Is This Prescribed Quantity Of Nortriptyline Be Safe For Nerve Pain?
I was prescribed nortriptyline 2 weeks ago for nerve pain. started first week at 10mg and increase 10mg over 4 weeks. When I went from 10 mg to 20mg in 2nd week I got really sick and sleepy - nodding out every few hours for like 4 hours at a time. I went back to 10mg at bedtime but want to stop taking this as it makes me sick

It is a tricyclic agent and safe in young people not to be used for old. It causes some times dry mouth, excesive sleep etc. For neuralgia for better results cause of neuralagia top must be trested. Dose has been rightly prescribed .Kindly take tryptomer atleast 2 hours before sleeping time so its effect ends eary in the morning.
