Is this part of my mucus plug?

I m 39 weeks pregnant with my first baby. Today I had this clear jelly like stuff about the size of a quarter fall out of me onto my leg as I was getting ready to get in the shower. Could this be part of my mucus plug? I ve had discharge throughout my pregnancy, but this isn t like what I ve ever had before.

Thanks for choosing HealthcareMagic forum.
At 39 weeks of pregnancy your cervix starts preparing for opening up and in this process it becomes soft and gets loosened up.This loosening of cervix causes the mucosal plug blocking the cervical opening to come out. Do not worry. Your pains are likely to start in 4-5 days.
