Is This Migraine Related With Hiatus Hernia?

Hi Doc, I am 28 yrs old guy, I used to get gastric sensation very soon if I get up late . I do not feel hunger however I get burps/sometime even vomit. Consulted a Doc & performed endoscopy test and was diagnosed to have Small Hiatus hernia, ant-rum : patchy antral gastritis . But, i get migraine most of the time and only Vasogrian tablet will give me relief. Is this Migraine related with Hiatus hernia. Can this be cured both hernia & migraine ? I am unable to concentrate on most of my work.

Hello,

Migraine and Hiatus hernia not related to each other.

However, Hiatus hernia induced acid reflux can lead to a headache. But it is not causative for migraine.

For repeated migraine problem, prophylactic treatment can be given for that. Avoid loud noise, hypoglycemia, excess bright light etc to prevent a migraine attack.

For Hiatus hernia permanent treatment, surgical management can be done.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
