Is Thick And Dark Maroon Colored Blood And Pieces Of Clots Signs Of A Miscarriage?

hi, my periods are 9 days late. but now i am bleeding since morning. the color of blood is dark maroon and its thick, small pieces of clots are also coming and have pain just like periods. 4 days ago i had spotting, the color was pink to brownish. i thought it might be implanting bleeding but today i am heavily bleeding. what is reason? i am trying to get pregnant and had unprotected sex. is that any sign of miscarriage?

Hi,
In the current scenario, the only way you can know if it is a miscarriage or a delayed period is to get an estimation of the serum beta-hCG titres as the hormone levels, even in the event of a miscarriage do not disappear immediately. Additional benefit may be possible, though not so relevant, by a pelvic sonogram. Please contact your health care provider for further assistance. Hope your query has been clarified. Wish you good health.
