Is There Chances Of Infection Even After Using Condom?

hi doctor, i had sex with an escort on saturday. We had oral and vaginal sex both protected. The condom did not break as far as i remember. I also confirmed that with her again. Hello,
Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query.
I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through.
From the kind of sexual intercourse you had had, there is negligible chance of you contracting HIV. You need not be afraid. If at all you need to check, get a blood test done 4 weeks later. If the thoughts still bother you then you need to start with the cognitive behavioural therapy. This therapy is taken by either a psychologist or a psychiatrist in which the therapist identifies impaired cognitions (Thoughts) and try to correct them. They are 15-20 min weekly session and there should be around 8-10 sessions to help you with your illness.
Hope I am able to answer your concerns.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
