Dear Shaan,
I really appreciate your concern for your friend..He needs immediate help from a psychiatrist or both his physical or mental health would be affected. you could take him to institute of mental health at erragadda or the closest hospital to you..all hospitals have emergency and from there on a psychiatrist can take on this case..Doctors might want to know how this started or if your friend in on any drugs or under any stress..
Wish you and your friend all the best

While I have suffered from mild insomnia for several years, it recently became severe, allowing me no more than three hours of sleep per night for this past week. I have just begun treatment for sudden hair loss with 5000 mcg of Biotin in addition to, Rogaine and Viviscal. I also have been taking Cozaar 50 mg per day for about two years and noticed a change in my ability to sleep since taking it as well. Could there be a connection with any of these drugs? Thank you

I ve just recently started studying again, but before I had started I had suffered severe insomnia , and serious waves of fatigue that would come and go several times a day. This has continued since I ve started study, but also now, I am suffering random dizzy spells and twisting/rocking/blurring vision , and really bad, burning headaches in my frontal left lobe.

Does the rocking of a ship increase insomnia in those who have recently had a stroke and exhibit an increased startle reaction? I recently shared a cabin with a stroke victim who claimed she could not sleep all night. What I noticed is that repeatedly in the middle of the night she would suddenly and violently wake up without cause and think I was making noise. She also the week before the trip underwent an invasive procedure endoscopicly to see if she needed a stint placed in her artery. Could she be reacting to that, too? She claimed she slept better once we were in a hotel on land and I got my own cabin. Others in my family report that I am a quiet sleeper, so I believe I am not the cause of her insomnia which has plagued her all her life. A very light sleeper, or is something more serious going on that her doctor needs to know about? Thanks for your answer in advance. Nina Daniel
