Is There Any Surgery For Nasal Congestion Causing Difficulty To Breathe?

I have problems with my sinuses/ congestion and often feel like I can't breath. This causes anxiety, depression and panic attacks, is it normal to have anxiety and depression due to these problems? Is there a surgery that will help me breath better through my nostrils?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that you have a sinus infection or Sinusitis leading to congestion and breathing difficulties..
It can lead to irritation and can cause anxiety and panic attack..
I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and he can do a clinical examination and also advice you MRI Scan or PNS view x ray of sinuses..
In case of sinus infection he can advise you to take a antibiotics like Augmenting or Levofloxacin.
Anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen, decongestant oral like Phenylephrine, nasal decongestant like Xylometazoline can be advised..
Do steam inhalation, use steroid nasal spray and use a humidifier in your room..
Avoid chilled foods and air conditioned atmosphere..
In case if still there is no resolution surgical drainage of sinuses can be done .
