Hello
Your blood pressure is 200/ 120 mm of Hg . The lower one blood pressure is ( 120 ) very very high particularly in this age group ( 35 years).
As you mentioned that you are having anxiety and angry with trivial issues , this will further aggravate the condition.
Your doctor prescribed atol i.e. atenolol 25 mg , a very low dose but if it is effective and controlling BLOOD PRESSURE well and good .
But if your blood pressure is not under control then this is a cause of concern.
As far as about side effects of atenolol , these are bronchospasm, cold extremities , fatigue, dizziness and impotence , confusion, parasthesias , heart failure , 2ndor 3rd degree A V block .
Mind it these are minor and few are rare side effects as in compare of benefits .
But I recommend you at earliest visit a CARDIOLOGIST and sort out this problem ( high diastolic B P ).
Hope this will help you.
