Is There Any Problem In Using Expired Calamine Lotion?

can i still use an expired calamine lotion? i got it from the doctors the other day and they gave me some expired calamine lotion for my acne.i just realize it after getting back home and it was too late to go back and ask for a replacement (it only had expired for a week though)

Hi

Calamine lotion does not become dangerous after the expiration date, but it will usually be less effective.But expired creams can also cause irritation and possible bacterial infection due to many preservatives present and hence better avoid using the cream.
