Hi, If your husband has double dosed Victoza(liraglutide) accidentally, then skipping insulin is the right thing to do as insulin and Victoza combination will increase the hypoglycaemia risk significantly. You need to watch out for symptoms of hypoglycaemia nevertheless. Apart from hypoglycaemic events, other gastrointestinal side effects can be anticipated at this double dose. Nausea, vomiting or diarrhoea can occur which usually subsides soon.
