Hi,
You should understand the importance of stroke.Early treatment better the outcome.Treatment depends on Ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke.Since you are unable to take her to hospital, atleast you can call RMP doctor or nurse to put IV line and hydrate her with normal saline,if that is also not possible try to give her 3 litres of water per day.Injection citicholin 500mg twice daily will take care of both ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke.Iv mannitol will reduce edema Check BP if high try to control it with medicine like amlodepine 5mg daily or twice daily depending on blood pressure.(to keep 130-140/90-100 range.Ryles tube insertion and medicine if not taking orally with the help of any nurse

I think if you took her to the hospital and they see that she is in need of medical attention and can't afford it they will get her the help she needs.She does need to get help and it's to bad people are going without medical insurance in this country.Take Care,Deb Bonanno.

Read your problem.She definitely will require medications so what you can do is take her to the doctor tell him that you cannot afford to keep her in hospital so ask him to give medications you can give at home.You can learn how to give physiotherapy and you can give at home.
