Is There Any Chance Of Continuing The Pregnancy After Finding Debris Around Gestational Sac In Scan Result?

I had an ultrasound today ...it showed some debris around the gestational sac ...the doctor said I have a threatened abortion .....I had very little bleeding and that's why I went to the ER to begin with..I just found out I was pregnant on frridsay.....is there no chance of staying pregnant?

Without knowing exactly what they saw, it is hard to make a firm conclusion based on what you are saying. If they saw a fetus with a normal heartbeat, then I would say that the chances of miscarriage are very low. If on the other hand, you had the scan because of bleeding and cramping, then your risk of miscarriage is much higher. It is common to see bleeding around the sac in early pregnancy on ultrasound. Do not assume the worst and make sure you followup with an ultrasound 1-2 weeks later.
