Is There Any Chance For Cardiac Arrest?

Hi i am 22 yrs old and i am afraid of having a sudden cardiac arrest..There is no history of heart diseases.I have also had echo and ecg and there were no problems with those tests.Still i am afraid to live my normal life because i could just drop dead any second!!

I understand your concern and would like to explain that this is not possible for a healthy person of your age.

Your performed cardiac tests, are really assuring that nothing like that is going to happen.

So relax and don't worry about it any more!

Your symptoms are just caused by anxiety and a possible OCD disorder.

I recommend consulting with a specialist of this field to help you manage your anxiety and this fear.

Psychotherapy (behavioral therapy) would really help you in this situation.

An antidepressant may be needed if you can't perform psychotherapy.
