Is There Any Alternative For Spinal Fusion Surgery To Cure Spondylosis?
I m a 26 year old female suffering from spondylosis with the recommendation to undergo spinal fusion surgery. I have right leg numbness after standing for 10 minutes. I ve had the symptoms for over 3 years and has gotten progressively worse. I just had a baby 4 months ago. I am wondering if there is an alternative surgery for this other than fusion.

Each patient is indicated a certain type of surgery depending on their case and condition, and if your surgeon has recommend fusion I do think this would be best for you.
But other options include removal of the lamina, foramen, disc, entire vertebral body, osteophyte (if present), etc. But these can be considered only as per the case as I mentioned ma'am.
