Is There An Alternative Treatment For Uterine Fibroid?
I am working with a GYN/Oncologist at Mercy Hospital. I have a small fibroid that we really can not tell if it is cancerous or not until someone takes a biopsy. Can you biopsy a fibroid and if it is cancerous without the cancer spreading to the rest of the body? I am trying to figure out why the doctor would opt for me to have a hysterectomy if something else is available to me. Is there something else available?
