Is There An Alternative Medication For Nexium And Is There An Easy Way To Replace Loss Of Minerals?

I've been taking nexium (20 mg a day) for the past ten years. I believe that as a result of this I have regular minor pain in my shoulders. I've read that minerals are leeched from the body with this use. Two questions: first, is there an easyn way to replace the loss of minerals; second, is there an alternative to using nexium?

HI
Thanks for your query.
I do not think that the use of nexium can explain your shoulder pain.
I would recommend an X Ray of the shoulder and a consultation with an orthopaedician for further evaluation of your problem.
Hope this helps
Good luck.
