Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My Phychiatrist suggested that I try to find another Pharmacy that might carry a different generic besides Barr for my Adderall because they don't seem to be working as well as they use to. I am a 53 yr. old woman and have been diagnosed with ADD since the year 2000. I would appreciate any advice that you could give me about what the best generic Adderall and where I might find it. I have my prescription but I've been trying to this all out by myself. I live in Attalla, Alabama and thank you for your time and your help. Sincerely, Teresa Poole

General & Family Physician, Dr. Jay Patel's Response
It normally do not matter which company makes it, if you are not satisfied with the generics you got from the pharmacy, just go to other pharmacy like if you got to walgreens for the prescription, then go to walmart/ cvs, most of them have different providers of generics drugs. If you find no change then you need to stick will the brand name.
Hope it helps. dr.JAY PATEL.
