Is There A Permanent Cure For Hot Water Bottle Rash ?
I think I have hot water bottle rash, I had been using a hot water bottle for about a month and this netted purple discolouration has formed on my legs, I've stopped using the hot water for a week now, but there has been no improvement. Are these effects permanent?
Welcome to healthcaremagic. I have read your query and understood your concern.
Hot water bottle rash usually subsides of its own within 1-2 months. Initially you may apply a good moisturiser to keep the skin soft and supple. Later if not subsiding, depigmenting creams like kojic acid, vitamin C, arbutin, liquorice can be applied over it for improvement.
Good luck.
