Is There A Good Alternative To Diamicron MR X 2 30mg?

I am type 2 diabetic. diamicron MR x 2 30mg does not work.But affects my BP . can drop as low as 58/96. Have reduced dosage to 1x 30 mg tablet. glucose, fasting varies 6.7 to7.7.taking medication 4 hypertension and cholesterol problems

Dear sir i can understand your concern.
i am very sorry for your condition.
in my opinion this medication diamicron is a type of medicine which will increase the production of insulin your body and help in treating diabetes.
it might no be the reason for your reduction of blood pressure.

Fasting blood sugar 6.7-7.7 is a fair control of diabetes, but i need to know your age height and weight before giving my opinion.

Because in young individuals the goal of fasting blood sugar is below 7 mmol/lit.

i suggest you to considering rescheduling of the hypertensive medications to correct your problem.

taking excess dose of the anti hypertensive medication can cause low blood pressure.

i would like to suggest you to check important test called Hba1c% before reducing or increasing the dose of diabetes medication.
Hba1c% tells about your average blood sugar for three months.

The best target of hab1c is 7%
