Is The White Discharge Linked To Bed Wetting?

4 year old son has white discharge in his underwear. Is this a problem or normal? It was sort of cottage cheese like... a little lumpy. Would or could it be associated with his bed wetting. He will be trained for weeks and then start wetting the bed again every night....

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The white discharge is not related to bed wetting.

It can be related to a urinary tract infection.

I suggest doing a urine test to confirm the diagnosis and take proper treatment.

Meanwhile, I suggest to give him cranberry juice for antibacterial properties.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
