Is The Tenderness On The Bump And Bruising After An Injury On Shin A Result Of Arthritis?
I bumped my shin 8 months ago and it is still tender to touch. It had a very large bump and a dark bruise, but I could walk on it. Is there something I could have damaged that I should see a doctor for? I saw one 2 months later, they said I probably have arthritis in my knee. No xray. I am a 53 year old female

hi thanks for writting to HCM your shin pain has nothing to do with knee arthritis.for your shin bone pain which can be because of osteoporosis/osteopenia,you require diet rich in calcium and vitamin D and cold fomentation with ibuprofen on as and when required. you will get over it. take care, feel free to contact anytime.
