Is The Running Nose After Unprotected Sex A Sign Of HIV?
Hi DOC, I had an unprotected heterosexual act with a local female in Kenya 8 weeks ago. I got a running nose right now with no fever and I am scared it could be an Hiv ARS symtom. Last week my right tonsil was swollen for 2 days and it went away. I had no STDS at the time of the sexual act, I don t have them now either. Is it possible My running nose is hiv symptom?.

Running nose alone in any way is not specific for HIV as it is a quite common symptom for anybody to catch a cold or upper respiratory tract infections.
Enlarged tonsils 2 weeks back revealed that you had a throat infection. Only blood test for HIV would either confirm or rule out the same.Not to worry.
