Hello Doctor. I have undergone a Master medical check up. In Peripheral Blood smear test they reported that there are few reactive Lymphocytes and impression as Suggestive of viral infection. Bt the Doctor Said that it was not contradictory and told that I m fit. Is that ok??
Reactive lymphocytes in your peripheral smear suggesting viral infection indicates that you might be exposed to a virus. The particular virus may be causing a subclinical infection. Reactive lymphocytes are present because virus are killed by our body's lymphocytes and so the lymphocytes are in an active phase in order to eradicate that infection. So you are fit don't worry. It's fine.
