Is The Medication Of Tretiva 20 Mg Capsule Safe For Pimples?

Hi, I am having some skin related problem. Like I am having small small pimples erruption on my face and it doesn t have mouth of puss. But after few days it gets a mouth and if you press it a small white hard puss comes out. Sometimes it gets big and the pimple gets painful. So i consulted a dermatologists and have prescribed me Tretiva capsule (20mg) for 60 days one capsule daily. But I was going through the feedbacks and side effects of this medicine. I didn t find a good feedback about this medicine. There is lots of negative feedback and lots of side effects. Like after i stop will it cause any side effect to pregnancy Can anyone suggest me that will it be a good one to take this 20mg capsule for 60days daily one. I am very confused.

Hi,

Tretiva is a tried and tested drug for Acne, which is most likely condition you are suffering from based on your symptoms.

However, do note that if you get pregnant while taking this drug you may have problems with your baby. Hence, do not take this drug if you are pregnant.

Also, once you stop this drug, there is no harm likely to occur to any future pregnancies.
