Is The Intake Of Phenobarbital As A Child The Cause For Adrenal Fatigue?

I am a 38 year old female with Hashimoto s disease. I currently take Armour for my thyroid. I took Phenobarbital as a child from age 5-14 for a seizure condition. Could this medication have caused or contributed to adrenal fatigue?

Hello.
Welcome to HealthcareMagic forum.
Phenobarbitone is a short acting drug and is metabolised very fast in our body. It is nit likely to produce any effects after such a long time. Also, the main effect it produces is on liver and induces all the hepatic enzymes. It has no effect on adrenal.
