Is The Hair Loss On Leg Be Due To Metoprolol And Having Tiredness And Fatigue?

I am experiencing some hair loss on my legs and arms, which I think may be due to Metoprolol. I don t want to loose my hair over b.p. medicine. Any suggestions? Also, having some tiredness and muscle fatigue which I think may be either from this same medicine or simvastatin. I am a runner but find this makes me fatigued much sooner that I am use too. Is there is a problem by stopping the use of this medicine immediately?

Hello,

Metoprolol can cause tiredness and fatigue, but not usually hair loss.
However, the triad of symptoms you are experiencing is concerning for possible low thyroid hormone levels/hypothyroidism.
So please follow up with your primary provider to undergo thyroid function test.

Hope this answers your query
