Is The Dosage Of Amoxicillin Safe For Treating Throat Pain And Fever?
Hello dr, I had very bad throat pain and fever and was diagnosed with strep throat. He has put me on amoxcillin 500mg , 3 times a day for 10 days. Is it ok to take this high dosage antibiotic?are there any side effects with this tablet? Kindly advice

Thanks you for asking this question. I have undergone through your question. I understand your concern. Yes this is the right dose of amoxicillin. Common side effects of amoxicillin are nausea, vomiting and diarrhea but you can avoid these after taking amoxicillin after taking some food. You can also use Listering gargle three times a day. I will provided some relief.
