Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic.

Your dermatologist asked you not to use any OTC product/ home remedies while on medication because it can lead to irritation to medicines.

Glycolic peeling, TCA CROSS technique, tretinoin and bright night cream are all part of a regime to control acne and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and acne scars and to rejuvenate/ enhance the skin.

They need to be used judiciously in a step wise fashion. Your doctor would aim to first focus on acne and acne spots with tretinoin cream and bright night cream along with glycolic peels and after your acne activity is under control, your dermatologist might probably do you more glycolic peels and CROSS technique for acne scars.

regards
