my boyfriend is 53 he is 6ft 1 and weighs 247 lbs he had a stroke 3 days ago we walked to the store which is about 1/8th of a mile he took his bp it was 130 over 97 and his bpm was 125 is that to high? should we be concerned? please let us knw asap thanks so much

Yes you should be concern on blood pressure if it stays above 140/90 Regularly. So for this you need to check the blood pressure every day mainly morning time and if it stays on higher side or fluctuate a lot then visit you physician and change the medication because most of the stroke cases the cause use to be a high blood pressure. I suggest do not get panic with just one day reading and check it for another 2 to 3 days regularly. At any time if he has headache, nausea or weakness feeling do rush to hospital for medical check up. As of now it looks all normal. Take care
