Is The Blood Pressure Reading Of 108/75 With Pulse Of 68 Normal?

I am a 76 year old male who has a pacemaker and two weeks ago had a heart attack 2 weeks ago. I had two stints put in and am now taking Ticagrelor 90 mg. Carvedilol 3.125 MG both twice per day. I am also taking Aspirin EC 81 MG Atirvastatin 80 MG and Lisinipril 5 mg. And Medium 20 MG all once per day. I have been taking my blood pressure at home and wonder if my pressure is in the normal range. 108/75 with heart rate if 68. Is this ok

Hi Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
Yes blood pressure reading of 108/75 with pulse of 68 per minute is normal. Normal blood pressure ranges from 100-140/70-90 mm Hg & normal pulse rate is 60-100 per minute. In a patient suffering recently from heart attack, these readings of blood pressure & mainly pulse on slightly lower side are good values & indicate good prognosis.
Therefore your reading of blood pressure & pulse are normal. Take your medicines on time as directed. Go to your cardiologist for routine checkup as directed by him. Some medicines may need to be adjusted or some dose reduction may be needed.

Refer to your cardiologist
Hope this information helps
