Is The Xanax Tablet White In Color And Oval Shaped With A Line On One Side?

Yes. I picked up my fathers medication last week. And his 1 mg. blue xanaxs were oval shaped but white with a line going down the middle of one side and nothing imprinted on the other side. He takes them for insomnia. He just called me and said he thinks they put the wrong med. in his prescription bottle. Is there a white oval shaped Xanax with a line on one side and no imprint on the other?

Hello,

Xanax comes in the following colors and shapes which indicate doses [with imprint shown in brackets]:

2mg, white rectangle, [XANAX ⋅ 2], can be broken into fourths, 1mg, blue oval, [XANAX ⋅ 1.0], 0.5mg, orange oval, [XANAX ⋅ 0.5], 0.25mg, white oval, [XANAX ⋅ 0.25].

So you have been given a different strength(twice potent). Ask him to take half of the scored tablet. It would make his dose of 1mgm.
