Is Tetanus Advisable After Stabbing With Sewing Needle?

Hi there, so I got stabbed with a sewing needle on my bed. I was sewing some paints together that had a hole ripped in it by my friend. Long story short I left my needle on the bed and when I jumped on it stabbed me in the side of my stomach (about an inch). Im a little fat on the sides, and I pulled out the needle with no pain. It didnt bleed or sting (maybe only a little bit afterward), and and I washed out the wound (barely, the hole was so small nothing may have gotten in). Im 18, and all my medical records are up to date (as far as I know), should I be worried about tetanus? (I assure you im no bot, this is my temp email address)

Thanks for consulting. I have carefully worked through your case, and I can realize your health worries. Being your physician, I assure you not to worry as I will take care all of your medical concerns.

you mite need to take tetanus vaccine to be int he safer side if you have not taken any where in the past 6 months. as the tetanus bacterial is every where and even a small prick like this is enough to enter our body.
other than that nothing else need to be done.

Hope it helps. If you need further, detailed and quick assistance related to any health issues in future, feel free to 'ask me a question' directly from my profile.

Have a wonderful time ahead.

Best Regards!
