Is Termination Of Pregnancy Possible After Taking Mifepristone And Misoprostol Pills?

Hi Doc I am 6 weeks pregnant with uterine fibroid and previous scar from caesarian section. Please is it safe to take misoprostol and mifepristone to abort the pregnancy? Kindly help me with the right dosage as its urgent and I want to take the drugs today. Hope to hear from you Thank You.

Hello dear
I understand your concern
You should terminate pregnancy according to law of abortion in your country.
I would suggest to consult gynecologist and take proper advise after undergoing USG.
Misoprostol and mifepristone cause uterine contraction can cause increase chance of bleeding in your case as you have fibroid.
Misoprostol and mifepristone should be used under supervision of gynecologist.
Better to go for surgical process of abortion like suction evacuation, D & C for better termination of pregnancy.
