Is Taking OvralG Advisable To Postpone Menstrual Cycle?

Hi. I want to postpone my monthly cycle by two days. They commence on 22nd of every month and this month I want it to happen on 24th due to religious function at my home. I had taken a pill of Ovral G. Will it help me with my problem?any side effects of it ?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
Yes ovral G pills can be taken to postpone menstrual cycle. But you have to take it from starting of your cycle. It should be taken once daily at same time of day beginning from fifth day of the cycle. You have to take 21 pills & then the pills would be stopped. You would have your periods 3-4 days after stoppage of pills.
By taking this your period would be delayed. Suppose you start this on 10th then your period would come after 24th. If you have started on 5th of the month then you should take 26-27 tablets ina row instead of 21. It will provide protection from unwanted pregnancy too, but you should use barrier method in first few days (1st week of cycle).
