Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Taking Omnacortil is not safe for a long time it may cause corticosteroid side effects like obesity, peptic ulcer disease, growth retardation, Cushing's syndrome etc.

So final decision is your treating doctor only. He will treat you benefits outweigh risks. Please consult your treating doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
