Is Taking Aleve Safe Instead Of Aspirin And Ibuprofen For Arthritis?

I am an asthmatic...74 years old...have arthritis...have never taken Aleve....have used aspirin and ibuprofen occasionally. Would like to see if Aleve will help me through the night...others wear off. My asthma is under control and have not had problems with aspirin or Ibuprofen in the past. Would I be in any danger taking 220 Mg of an Aleve gel?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If you have safely used ibuprofen and aspirin , then you should be able to use the aleve because they are in the safe family of drugs.

There would be differences between the medications but in general it should be safe considered you have used similar medication.

I hope this helps
