Is Swollen Lymph Node In Armpit And Neck A Result Of Malaria Or A Sign Of STD?

Hi,i had sex with a girl four weeks ago,i girl i hardly know but made a mistake in sleeping with her.i used a condom, but i when rolling the condom on my penis it didn t reach the base of my penis,it was almost close to reaching though,as it was left with about 1 inch before it could reach the base of my penis. That night after sleeping with her i felt very weak, thought it was tiredness after sex,i went home, slept and woke up the next morning still feeling tired, later on,about five days after this incident i felt sick with malaria, and four days after the malaria infecton i felt a lump in my armpit which vanished an appeared on the left side of my neck the next day,the lump was very small, painful and red,and i felt feverish.not long i noticed a swollen lymph near the place this lump was,the lump also vanished but the lymph node is still there, another lump appeared on the right side of my neck and the area close to that lump also swelled but not as big as the lymph node on the left side, now i have some tiny spots like rashes on my penis and a lump appeared at the left side of my leg in between the area close to my thigh and scrotum, white fluid come out of it,and since then being feeling pains there,am feeling pains in my right groin too but there is o swelling there, being coughing lately too and i want to know if this symptoms is anyway connected to an std?am very worried here

Hi,
Welcome to HCM
From your history I am not able to understand whether you had the exposure 4 days or 4 months or 4 year ago.

If it is 4 days then these symptoms are unlikely to be due to STD.

You had a protected exposure. The condom not reached completely up to the base of penis did not increase the risk for HIV/STD much.
Your swelling has to be examined by a physician. Then only we will be able to tell more about the swelling.
A blood work out for STD/HIV have to be carried out after 2-3 months.
The tiredness following your sexual act could be due to the subsequent Malarial attack.
Dr S.Murugan.
