Is Switching From Keppra To Dilantin Safe?
A friend has been on Dilantin for 42 years. He has teeth, bone problems, and some other side effects; however his doctor has recomended Kepra, so we switched and he is having problems with it, aggressive behavior. He has been tolerating the Dilantin for so long we thought it best to go back to it, however she is not recommending. Please advise.

dear yes keppra may cause dizziness, drowsiness;
feeling tired,weakness,feeling aggressive or irritable,loss of appetite,stuffy nose, or infection.
If he is developed aggressive behaviour the please consult your doctor he /she may reduce the dose or shift to another alternative drug like oxycarbamazepine or valproate.
