Is Swelling In Eye Along With Headaches Due To Stye?
My 16 yr old daughter woke up with her eye swollen. She says it hurts and its giving her a headache. Looking at it youbcan see that its swollen but nothing else. Had her put a warm compress that seemed to make swelling a little worse. Could this be a stye? If so how is that treated, at what piont should I consider bringing her to have it checked?=

From history it seems she might be having infected stye or conjunctivitis.
On clinical examination it will give clear idea about her problem.
Consult your doctor and get examined.
She might require one course of antibiotic medicine for 3-5 days.
Meanwhile put antibiotic eye drops 2-3 hourly.
Ok and take care.
