Is Suspicious Echo In The Lumen During A Scan Of The Gallbladder A Cause For Concern?

Hello, what does this means? Gallbladder is normal in size with suspicious intraluminal echogenicity within. Its wall is not thickened. Post stent insertion in the common bile duct according to the history. IMPRESSION: SUSPICIOUS ECHO IN THE LUMEN, RE-EVALUATION IS ADVISE.

Hi,

The gallbladder is normal. They suspect but are not sure that there is something in lumen, maybe stone and walls are thin so no infection is seen. They want to re-evaluate the lumen for material on it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
