Is Surgery Required For The Removal Of Fibroids?

I am giving the opition of a hysterectomy I have Fiborids that can not be removed with out abdominal surgery my sister had if and she is fine but my mom had it and my dad is worried about the blood clots that my mom had. the doctors said I could keep taking the meds to stop the bleeding and wait it out. he said the Fiborods are not growing to fast. but in 4 years they are big enough to have to take them out abdominaly. I feel I want it done just to not have it in the back of my mind all the time. What do you think?
