Is Surgery Required For Removal Of Bone Growth On Heel?

gd morning Dr. my sister is having heel pain for past two month.we consult with Dr. and took X-ray .he told bone growth little bit ( starting stage ) .how can cure this? surgery need or not?her age is 35,ht-5.4/wt-58kg/no BP , suger. and no any other health problem...,pls reply

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that you may be referring to a calcaneal spurs which are bony outgrowths.

These are small bony out growths that occur on the calcaneus ( the heel bone).

Treatment includes lifestyle changes such as certain physical exercises for this time of issue which can be found online.
Rest , replacing any worn shoes and use of proper shoes would also be helpful.
